Welcome to the Darfield Rugby Club. The club is located in Darfield, a rural town in Canterbury, just 40 kilometers from Christchurch. As a typical New Zealand country rugby club, we draw players from the surrounding rural areas.

We have a proud history of involvement in both our local community and the national rugby scene at all levels, from junior to senior club rugby. Over the years, we've produced numerous players who have gone on to represent Ellesmere, Canterbury Country, and Canterbury. We're the largest club in the Malvern area and one of the biggest in Ellesmere, a sub-union of the Canterbury Rugby Union.

Each weekend, our teams—ranging from U6 to Senior Division 1—take the field under the Darfield banner. Many of our senior players have been with the club for over 20 years, starting their rugby careers here. The three senior teams work closely together to promote a positive culture, strengthen our player pool, and ensure ongoing success for years to come.
